    RN - Labor and Delivery

    Seattle, Washington Permanent Full Time Nights | 3x12 | 36 hrs/week

    The Opportunity

Labor and Delivery is one of the most demanding and most rewarding floors in any hospital. This full-time night shift RN opportunity in Seattle, Washington places you inside a high-volume, well-supported L&D unit with 20 open seats — meaning real scheduling stability and a team large enough to carry its weight. If you have at least one year of hands-on L&D experience and want to practice in a city that matches your energy, this position deserves your attention.

This is a full-time night shift role running 3x12-hour shifts at 36 hours per week. With 20 openings currently available, this is an organizational build-out, not a single backfill. The hiring timeline reflects that, and there is genuine flexibility for candidates who are making a deliberate move.

A $15,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external candidates. Relocation assistance is also on the table and negotiable for the right fit. The full benefits package begins on your first day of employment.

Candidates must hold a current Washington Registered Nurse license and BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire. NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics is also required upon hire. A minimum of one full year of Labor and Delivery experience is required — clinical rotations and residency programs do not satisfy this requirement. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is expected, and national certification in your specialty area is preferred.

If your L&D background is solid and you are ready to bring it to one of the country's most livable cities, let's connect. Apply now or book a confidential call — we will work around your schedule.

    Why Seattle?

Seattle sits at the intersection of Pacific Northwest wilderness and urban infrastructure that few cities its size can match. The city is flanked by Puget Sound to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east, putting hiking, kayaking, skiing, and ferry routes all within an hour or two of any neighborhood. The urban core is dense and walkable, with a strong restaurant and arts scene, a tech-driven economy, and neighborhoods ranging from family-oriented suburbs in Bellevue and Kirkland to dense urban living on Capitol Hill and Queen Anne. Seattle-area public schools consistently rank among the strongest in the Pacific Northwest, and the region draws professionals at every career stage who want both the amenities of a major metro and genuine outdoor access year-round.

Washington state carries a financial advantage worth naming: there is no state income tax. That distinction is meaningful when comparing compensation across markets — your take-home reflects more of what you earn. The climate runs mild and wet through winter and famously pleasant from June through September, with long summer days that make it easy to build a life outside of work. Whether you are relocating from a high-cost coastal market or looking to upgrade your lifestyle without sacrificing professional opportunity, Seattle's combination of career infrastructure, natural beauty, and financial upside makes it a destination worth the move.
