Why We Built Women's Nurse Recruiter
Because Women's Care — Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU nursing — is one of the most high-stakes, high-acuity disciplines in a hospital, and the people who lead it deserve a platform built exclusively for them.
Women's Nurse Recruiter was born from a simple realization: Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, Postpartum, and NICU nursing is one of the most critical, high-acuity functions in a hospital — yet for decades it has been one of the most overlooked when it comes to specialized recruiting and career development.
Our founder, Chris Monroe, spent 23 years inside hospitals — starting as a Respiratory Therapist and working his way up through operations to become a Hospital CEO. He saw from the executive chair how much a strong Women's & Children's team mattered to a facility — and how hard it was to find the right people when a seat went empty. When Women's Care is understaffed, patient safety suffers immediately.
So we built this firm — and this website — to change that. This platform is designed for Women's Care professionals at every level: from Directors of Women's & Children's Services and L&D Nurse Managers, to NICU Clinical Nurse Specialists, CNMs, WHNPs, and front-line staff. It's also built for the people who hire them — Chief Nursing Officers and Human Resources leaders who understand that the right Women's Care hire is a patient safety decision, not just a staffing one.
Our VP of Recruitment, Christine Eubank, has spent over a decade connecting Women's & Children's nurses with hospital leadership. Her skill set is recruiting and relationship-building — talking with these nurses every day, understanding what they're looking for, and matching them with the right opportunity. We wanted a place to showcase this skillset — to elevate Women's Care from a vacant seat to the strategic, outcome-driven discipline it truly is.
That's why we're here. That's why we're 100% niche-focused. And that's why we'll never be a generalist firm that happens to place an L&D nurse now and then.

Christine Eubank
Franklin, TN · National Executive Recruitment
My name is Christine Eubank. I started my career in recruitment at the age of 23, right out of college. I've held several positions within this company before landing as VP of Recruitment for the Women's and Children's Nursing Division. Wearing those different hats gave me a real understanding of both the business development and recruitment sides of the industry — and it lets me keep the process streamlined so nobody falls through the cracks.
My skill set is recruiting and connecting Women's & Children's nursing staff with hospital leadership. I've never worked in a hospital clinical role — and I don't pretend to. What I do is talk with these nurses every single day. I know who's ready for their next move, what they're looking for, and where they want to go. For the last 10+ years, I've focused exclusively on placing Women's and Children's nurses and nursing leaders, and every conversation I have strengthens my understanding of what the market actually looks like right now.
On the employer side, working alongside a former healthcare executive has given me a clear picture of what hospitals actually need. I get the opportunity details up front from Human Resources — the details I know my candidates will need before they'll even consider a position. That cuts down the back-and-forth, so I know exactly who would want to be considered. In turn, I'm submitting prequalified candidates who are active and interested, which gets the client interviews faster.
Let me help you take charge of your career.

Chris Monroe
Parent Company Founder · 23-Year Healthcare Veteran
Chris Monroe is the owner of The Clinical Recruiter — the parent company behind Women's Nurse Recruiter and every other specialized brand in the family. His healthcare career didn't start in a corner office — it started at 19 years old, working in hospital food service while attending Respiratory Therapy school. He became an RT, then moved into Ancillary Development, Managed Care, and operations — working his way up through every level of hospital administration. By age 42, Chris was serving as a Hospital CEO.
His clinical background is as a Respiratory Therapist — that's his clinical foundation. But the bulk of his career was spent in hospital operations: running departments, managing budgets, building service lines, and leading the kind of large-scale facility growth that shapes a health system. Over the past 20 years, Chris has built a recruiting practice that bridges that operations background with the firm's focused approach to Women's & Children's, Labor & Delivery, and NICU leadership. He sat in the chair, reviewed the financials, and saw firsthand how the right Women's Care leader could turn a unit's outcomes around.
Christine Eubank is the primary recruiter for this division. Chris does not review candidate applications or manage the day-to-day search process — he sets the strategic direction of the firm and ensures the team operates with the operational rigor he built his career on. Every candidate inquiry and application is handled directly by Christine.

Why Hospitals Trust Us With Their Most Critical Hire
We're not a generalist firm that occasionally places an L&D nurse or NICU RN. This is all we do — and that focus changes everything.
100% Niche Dedication
No general nursing placements. No IT staffing. No temporary side projects. Every minute of our day is spent inside the Women's Care world — building relationships, tracking talent, and understanding the maternal-child health market better than anyone.
Clinical Experience Screening
Christine talks with these nurses every day — so she can match a candidate's reported experience to what your unit actually needs. A nurse who worked in a Level II nursery is a different fit than one you need for a Level IV academic NICU. She also discusses their experience on physician satisfaction, service lines and inpatient/outpatient volume, employee satisfaction and turnover — including how they managed travelers versus full-timers — and any construction or new service line build-out they've led. Primary-source verification of all credentials remains the hiring facility's responsibility.
Absolute Confidentiality & Passive Access
The best Women's Care nurses aren't looking for jobs. They're already employed and successful. We maintain confidential relationships with this passive talent pool — so when you need a leader, we can make the call that no job board ever could.
