The Opportunity
This is a manager-level opportunity for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN ready to step into or continue in senior clinical leadership at one of the most active and recognized L&D programs in the country. The unit runs more than 5,400 deliveries annually across 17 LDRs, 4 triage rooms, and 4 ORs. The Accreta Program alone logged nearly 90 cases last year and is nationally recognized. This is the kind of environment that sharpens clinical leaders and carries real weight on a resume.
Two Nurse Manager positions are open, both on a Days schedule. Between the two managers, oversight spans approximately 120 FTEs. Operational discipline, clinical credibility, and the ability to manage a high-census department are all on the table here — and they matter equally.
A sign-on bonus is available on a case-by-case basis, and relocation assistance is considered individually as well. The full benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with up to a 9% employer match, an employee stock purchase program, tuition and education assistance, paid family leave, free counseling services, and an employee health assistance fund. Compensation is Competitive Based on Experience.
Candidates must hold a current RN license in Texas or a compact state and have a minimum of two years of recent acute care L&D supervisor or charge nurse experience — recent charge nurse experience is also considered. A BSN is required; an advanced degree is preferred. BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required at hire. NRP is required within three months, and completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course is required within one year of hire.

The Package
Why Dallas?
Dallas, Texas is one of the most dynamic metros in the country, and it continues to draw healthcare professionals for reasons that go well beyond the job market. There is no state income tax, and the cost of living remains significantly more manageable than comparable major metros on the coasts or in the Mountain West. Housing options range from urban walkable neighborhoods to quiet suburban communities with newer construction and larger lots. The DFW area consistently ranks among the top metros for family stability, safety, and school quality. Suburbs north and west of the city — Frisco, Southlake, McKinney, Flower Mound — have earned national recognition for their school districts, parks infrastructure, and overall quality of life.
The city itself offers a cultural footprint that surprises most newcomers. The Dallas Arts District is the largest contiguous urban arts district in the United States, anchored by world-class museums, performing arts venues, and galleries within walking distance of one another. The restaurant scene draws from virtually every culinary tradition, and the Katy Trail and White Rock Lake put serious outdoor recreation inside the city limits. Professional sports teams are embedded in the local identity year-round. Winters are mild, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport connects the city to nearly anywhere in the country nonstop. For a healthcare professional weighing a move, Dallas makes the math work — financially and personally.
