The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for a Labor and Delivery nurse leader ready to step into something more than a management role. A health system in West Palm Beach is hiring a Nurse Manager for Labor and Delivery at a pivotal moment — with a mandate to strengthen an existing Women's Services program while contributing to the ground-floor design of a brand-new acute care hospital currently in development. For a clinical leader who wants to build a lasting professional legacy rather than maintain the status quo, the timing and scope here are genuinely uncommon.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The Nurse Manager will carry direct oversight of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Women's Services operations — with the added dimension of helping shape the operational model for a new hospital campus that will serve one of South Florida's fastest-growing counties over the next four years. The scope is operational today and strategic tomorrow.
Compensation is competitive based on experience. Full benefits are included. Relocation assistance is available for candidates making the move to South Florida.
Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing is required. This role is suited to a mid-senior clinical leader with at least one to two years of progressive nursing leadership experience and a grounded background in Women's Services, Labor and Delivery, or a closely related OB specialty.
If this fits where you are in your career, apply now or book a confidential call. The search is active and the team is moving.

The Package
Why West Palm Beach?
West Palm Beach is one of Florida's most livable cities and one of the fastest-evolving addresses in South Florida. The downtown core sits directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, anchored by Clematis Street and the Rosemary Square district — both packed with independent restaurants, waterfront dining, live music venues, and weekend markets. The city's Arts and Entertainment District draws major exhibitions and performances year-round, giving it a cultural depth that most growing metros take decades to develop. The climate is subtropical and warm, with mild winters that make outdoor life genuinely year-round.
Palm Beach County puts miles of Atlantic coastline within easy reach, along with state parks, kayaking, cycling trails, and boating across the Intracoastal and Lake Worth Lagoon. Families are drawn to the area's strong school options, more accessible housing costs compared to Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and the well-established communities of Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, and Jupiter just a short drive north. Florida carries no state income tax — a meaningful advantage for anyone relocating from a high-tax state. Brightline high-speed rail connects West Palm Beach directly to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Orlando. Palm Beach International Airport sits less than 15 minutes from downtown, making it easy to stay connected wherever your professional network and extended family are.
