The Opportunity
Eight openings. Level IV acuity. Night shift. If you have put in the time in a high-level NICU and you are ready to bring that experience to one of the most advanced neonatal critical care environments in the Pacific Northwest, this role is worth your attention. A nationally recognized health system in Seattle, Washington is actively recruiting experienced NICU RNs for permanent, full-time positions.
All eight positions are full-time nights, structured as 12-hour shifts across 36-hour weeks. You will work within a Level IV NICU — the top tier of neonatal care — delivering specialized nursing to the most complex and critically ill neonatal patients. The environment is high-acuity, high-support, and built for experienced clinicians who want to do serious work.
Eligible external candidates qualify for a $15,000 hiring bonus. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Full benefits begin on your first day of employment. The organization is built around a nursing culture grounded in shared governance, professional development, and genuine investment in frontline staff. Your clinical voice carries weight here.
Candidates must hold an active Washington RN license and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics is required upon hire. A minimum of one full year of post-graduation NICU experience in a Level IV NICU as a full-time RN is required — clinical rotations and residency programs do not count toward this requirement. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
Eight positions are open now. If your background meets the bar, apply directly or reach out to schedule a short confidential call. Qualified candidates with Level IV NICU experience will be prioritized.

The Package
Why Seattle?
Seattle, Washington sits between the Cascade Mountains to the east and Puget Sound to the west, placing two entirely different landscapes within an hour of the city. The outdoor culture here is genuine — hiking, skiing, kayaking, cycling, and sailing are woven into everyday life, not just reserved for long weekends. The city itself is dense with culture: a nationally recognized food and coffee scene, world-class museums, a thriving live music community, and a tech-driven economy that keeps the city well-resourced and forward-moving. Neighborhoods range from walkable urban corridors to quieter residential pockets with strong community character, and there is real variety in how people choose to build their lives here.
Washington has no personal state income tax, which gives your paycheck meaningful buying power relative to other major coastal markets. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport connects you directly to destinations across the country and internationally, making it straightforward to stay connected wherever home is. Public transit infrastructure continues to expand, and many neighborhoods are bikeable or walkable. Families will find strong public school options throughout the metro area, and the region's sustained investment in parks, arts, and outdoor programming makes it a genuinely compelling place to raise kids. For nurses considering a move to the Pacific Northwest, Seattle delivers career infrastructure at the highest level alongside a quality of life that consistently earns its reputation.
